Monkeys and apes have always appealed to me. We are so similar in movements and expression that sometimes it is impossible to see where the ape ends and the human begins. This is why my mind began to whirr with possibilities during a stroll through the Bronx Zoo. As a typical visitor, I took my phone out and took a few snaps, as I was shadowed during every step by this clan. From this action, I wondered what would happen if the roles were reversed. The result is ‘Lost Iphone’, a monkey selfie mimicking those we’d post on social media, through the eyes of our simian cousins.
