Primates are beautiful creatures that strike a human semblance. They are sentient, they are intelligent, and they can learn and do so much. In “Monkey See,”  I show a close-up portrait of a chimpanzee with a particular focus on the eyes. The common phrase, “monkey see, monkey do,” is all about mirroring, and learning from one another. Let this painting be a humble reminder that the world is full of creatures experiencing life differently from us, and who we can teach and learn from one in the same.
